The 23-year-old’s latest assist came in the brilliant 4-2 win away at Chelsea at the weekend as Wolves piled the pressure on Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Arsenal may have had one eye on the attacker’s performance. Arsenal are long-time admirers of Neto. And they will surely want to sign another forward in the summer transfer window after a quiet January.
And speaking on Seaman Says, David Seaman suggested that he is a big fan of the youngster after his display at Stamford Bridge.
“He’s special. He’s a special player. He seems to have that low centre of gravity where he can move both ways. That makes him harder to read, because you don’t know which way he’s going to go,” he said.
Wolves star looks to be heading to the top
Wolves fans must be fairly realistic about what the future holds for Neto. They have been superb under Gary O’Neil. But it really does appear that Neto is likely to attract a lot of offers in the summer.
Manchester City are also admirers of Neto. That provides an idea of the level he is likely heading to when he makes his next move.
Arsenal desperately need someone who can rival Bukayo Saka on the right. And apart from having issues with injuries previously, it is hard to think of the boxes the Wolves man does not tick at this stage.
