Arsenal target Oscar Gloukh was a popular name even before he joined RB Salzburg.
The teenager, who made a fantastic name for himself at Maccabi Tel Aviv, was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, but the Catalans’ bid to sign him came too late.
Gloukh moved to Salzburg last year, and his performances for the Austrian giants have been really impressive since.
The Israel international has scored six goals and provided seven assists so far this season from attacking midfield, which is a very impressive return for someone who is still only 19.
Football Transfers claim Gloukh’s performances have caught Mikel Arteta’s eye, and Arsenal are now ‘expressing significant interest’ to sign him this summer.
The report reveals that RB Salzburg signed Gloukh for just £6 million (€7m) last year, but they want three times that fee – £18 million – to let him go to Arsenal or any other club in the summer.
