Manchester United are preparing an assault to sign Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer during the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato.
The Brazilian signed a new long-term contract with the Bianconeri in December last year, but this has not stopped the speculation linking him with a summer exit.
Bremer has been closely monitored by the Red Devils over recent months, and the club have already taken concrete steps to understand the willingness of the player.
Calciomercato now claim that United are preparing an assault for the former Torino man, who remains transferable despite committing to a new long-term deal.
However, the Bianconeri are only willing to sell him for the right price. Intermediaries have ‘informed’ United that it will take €70m to convince the Turin giants.
Bremer has been identified as the ‘most suitable’ target to strengthen United’s defence.

The Red Devils have been far from convincing as a defensive unit this term. The central defensive partnership has constantly changed due to multiple injuries.
Manager Erik ten Hag may want a powerful centre-back with a good fitness record to join the club. Bremer would be an ‘ideal‘ signing ahead of next season.
The 26-year-old has the attributes to succeed in the Premier League. He has a good passing accuracy of 87 per cent in Serie A this term and has won 60 per cent of his duels.
He has also registered 1.6 tackles and four clearances per game alongside 5.3 ball recoveries. Bremer has helped the Bianconeri keep 11 clean sheets in the league this term.
The Brazilian could be seen as a replacement for Raphael Varane, who could walk through the exit door on a free transfer when his contract concludes at the end of June.
